Beach

With the beautiful palm boulevard and the pleasant shopping street, Alicante is one of the most famous cities on the Costa Blanca. The coast owes its good name to the kilometers long beaches of +/- 50m wide and attracts many sun lovers and pleasure seekers. The sun almost always shines and the azure Mediterranean invites the whole year for a swim. The sandy beach is approximately 10 minutes away by car and can be reached up to the beach itself. The beach gradually slopes into the sea and is therefore very suitable for children and there is also play equipment. The beach is guarded by lifeguards during the high season. Nude beaches can also be found on the Costa Blanca and you can really relax on La Marina's nudist beach.

Sights / Excursions

The beautiful historic Santa Barbara castle, in Alicante, is definitely worth a visit. The castle is located on the Benacantil hill from where you have a beautiful view of the city. In Elche you can visit the Priests Garden with a wide variety of plants, shrubs, cacti and the famous eight-stemmed Imperial Palm. Or a tour through the palm forest of Elche (Organized). You can also visit the 17th-century St. Mary's Church, located in the old city center, where the Passion Play The Mystery of Elche is staged every year. In Torrevieja you will find a real water attraction park Aquópolis open from June to September (Note: this is fun for young and old!). You can also go on a fantastic jeep safari through the hinterland that you really should not miss! Of course there are many more excursions to discover.

Consider, for example, Santa Barbara Castle or the picturesque mountain village of Guadalest. A jeep safari through the hinterland, a trip through the palm forest of Elche or a visit to one of the spectacular night clubs is certainly worthwhile.
